About Me
My name is Lisa Schechtman.
I've been solving tough political, technical, and interpersonal challenges for more than 20 years. I have worked in a range of settings, in the U.S. and around the world, and have a combination of skills and relationships that only I can bring. From non-governmental organizations, like WaterAid and Global AIDS Alliance, to UN Agencies where I served as a technical and political advisor, and finally to USAID as a senior strategist, I have led coalitions, advocacy campaigns, and other huge projects that have changed our world for the better.
On the technical side, I have expertise in safe drinking water and sanitation, global health, women's rights, and civil society strengthening. I would love to learn more issues by working with you.
And, as a strategist, I am a bold and creative advocate, a trusted diplomat, negotiator, and advisor, and someone who believes deeply in the power of the individual to be the change. I am excited to see what we can do together!
